"Vere Antichità” is a handcrafted line of furniture entirely produced near Venice, Italy, by second and third generation artisans with over half a century of experience. the polishing enhances the wood grain with a complex process of fifteen hand-applied coatings. The finishing consists of a soft, natural beeswax layer, which makes the surface particularly bright and brilliant. each piece can be custom designed, including a selection of interchangeable panels available in fifteen different styles.

Period 1500s - 1600s
In the Florentine/Senese style, this magnificent credenza portrays complex geometric and floral intarsio, which are hand-cut inlaid rare woods. This particular inlay method is known as "alla Certosina," and was practiced by Carthusian monks in the tradition of San Brunone. One bottom side molding pulls out to reveal a secret compartment, adding to the intrigue of this piece. Shown in Noce.
